- "The Bead Lady"

Twenty years ago, I chose to design a little necklace for my 3-year-old daughter; my love for making jewelry was instant the moment I saw the joy light up on her beautiful face! After that day, I was driven to see it happen again.
I began making regular necklaces with some expert instruction for how to attach the clasps from a recreational therapist that owned a jewelry store. Then, wanting to expand and make more Native style jewelry, I bought books that taught me how to weave beads with different stitches by hand.
My passion started growing each and every time I saw the spark of delightful awe ignite in other people as they first lay their eyes on my work. That is what motivates me to continue today as one friend calls me: "The Bead Lady."
